Pittsburgh's Best R&B Concert and Bob Regis' "Twisted Mind" DVD release party is by far the most amazing R&B musical event of the year if not longer. The musicians, featuring Shari Richards, Billy Price, Stevee Wellons & the Smooth Groove Band, Andrea Pearl, Jill Paone Simmons and Sputzy and his trio, are playing together in hopes of raising awaress of the stigma against those suffering with mental illnesses. Net proceeds from the event will go to, an organization of the same purpose that provides educational resources to the public founded by Glenn Close.

The concert will feature a short film produced and directed by Pittsburgh's beloved Lynne Hayes-Freeland and will be hosted by none other than Steve Hanson, previously of WDVE. Click here for details.

Roving Pittsburgher Report

Don Giovanni at Pittsburgh Opera
