Roving Pittsburgher Report, Rapid Results Marketing Workshop

Roving Pittsburgher Report, Rapid Results Marketing Workshop
February 24- 26, 2012

Rapid Results Marketing Workshop at Omni William Penn
Tamar Cerafici,
The Barefoot Barrister
2.5 days packed with almost information overload.  Gerry Roberts, author of Millionaire Mindset could not make it due to an illness except for the last few minutes of the workshop.  Trust is we missed Gerry not being there to teach us but not really as Tamar Cerafici, the Barefoot Barrister taught us about his phenomenal four point system for marketing.  She’s a lot cuter and a lot funnier than Gerry.  Okay so she doesn’t make millions of dollars a year but she is obviously on her way.  Saturday night was a jump start revelation for all.

Web 2.0 Specialist, Joanne Quinn-Smith
Pricing Expert, JoAnn R. Forrester
The rest of the lineup was outstanding.  On Saturday,  Joanne Quinn-Smith, 2009 SBA Journalist of the Year, started out with her trademarked Web 2.0 Branding mini workshop to teach about online platforms and talked about building a network of 920,000 accumulated listeners in five years in her niche market.  She was followed by Pricing Expert, JoAnn Forrester presenting, “Pricing, the Lost Component of Marketing.”  There were many business owners shaking their heads at the common pricing mistakes they had made. We readily listened to her as she has co-developed the Price It Perfect Cost Control System and used it to help secure over 40 million dollars in loans for small businesses.

We almost stood up in our seats as Tamar Cerafici, author of "Dominate, How Smart Lawyer's Crush the Competion," spoke about using OPM and OPI to do seminars and workshops to speedily and efficiently prospect for new clients.  The Master Mind Lunches both days gave us all food for thought and outstanding implementation ideas.

After lunch Weston Lyon, Author of 14 books and CEO of Plug and Play Publishing, taught the attendees about the process and value of text and email marketing.  Then 30 year veteran IT programmer, Matt Tomsho, the Effective Detective opened our eyes to the difference between Data and Information and how to use it to dig deep and find the gold in your list development.

Weston Lyon was back after that to talk about the ease of writing a book with a few fundamentals and outside help and reinforced Tamar’s insistence that the printed word, a book was the Magic Bullet to create authority.

The end of the day was as great as the beginning with Mark Call, author of “The Web Casting Book” and experienced internet Marketer broadcasting flawlessly from his Maine home as he could not be in attendance.  The attendees found out first hand just how valuable webcasting can be.

We were all excited to come back on Sunday for a Live Skype cast from London and the second scoop by TechnoGranny of Skatta TV as Tricia and Zack Litchfield taught us all how easy it is to launch your own TV show or network on SkattaTV.com.  The site has just gone live on February 14 and because of their previous experience in the movie and TV industry they have accumulated 165 million subscribers.

After that great jumpstart, Author Beth Caldwell spoke about the principles in her new book, a scoop for Rapid Results Workshop.  Her book, “Getting Paid What You are Worth” is an epiphany on self esteem and charging a value based fee for professional services and products.

The ever present vivacious Tamar Cerafici kept that ball rolling with her presentation on Attraction Marketing and using your Winner’s Circle of Raving Fans, OPI.

Fran Treloar,
The Relatiohnship Building
Coach
After another great Master Mind Lunch, Joanne Quinn-Smith, the Techno Granny, presented on Creating Power LinkedIn Profiles as your online business card and a way to remind your connections and followers that you are “an authority in your niche.”  Following that presentation on relationship building LinkedIn, Fran Treloar, presented on Building Old Fashioned Conenctions with a combination of direct mail and the Facebook Virtual Handshake.  The “piece de resistance”, however was Alex Tomsho’s demonstration of memory linking process to help us all remember all of the stuff we had learned at the Workshop.  What a unique ides.

After that LinkedIn Specialist, Joanne Quinn-Smith, the Techno Granny, presented on Creating Power LinkedIn Profiles as your online business card and a way to remind your connections and followers that you are “an authority in your niche.”

The “piece de resistance”, however was Alex Tomsho’s demonstration of memory linking process to help us all remember all of the stuff we had learned at the Workshop.  What a unique ides.

To pull all of this knowledge together, Joanne Quinn-Smith, Publisher of PositivelyPittsburghLiveMagazine.com and prominent internet Talkcast host tied all of the New Media and Social Media together in a presentation on how to actually use real life networking and online media to create a platform from which you can sell anything.

So we were all wondering how we were going to get out of this 2.5 day workshop and implement the multitude of things we learned and then Tamar Cerafici, publisher of the "LegalShoe" blog rolled out the MissingLink accountability program and Gerry Robert came in like reinforcements from his sick bed to rock out the finale.

So it may be said that it takes many lieutenants to replace one general.  There were nine outstanding marketing lieutenants to replace Gerry Robert.  So naturally we missed you Gerry but we managed quite well.  See you next time.
