Mayor Luke Ravenstahl announced today that Pittsburgh has once again bested American cities for yet another “most livable” recognition. Today, the Economic Intelligence Unit rated Pittsburgh as the world’s 29th most livable city, the highest ranking received by an American City. The survey ranks cities worldwide based on 30 factors such as healthcare, environment, education and public safety. Vancouver received the number one spot for the fifth-year in a row.

Riverdance—Roving Pittsburgher Larry Russell

Salsa Friday at Cabaret Theatre in Theatre Square
It’s $5.00 to get in or free if you have attended a show in the Cultural District.  Beers are 0.50 to 4.50 and the late night menu is all $10.00 or under. Salsa lessons at 10 PM and starts to hop with some great fun dancing at around 11 PM.  All you single gals who just like to dance, great place to do that as there are some great dancers there looking for partners.
