What is Celebrate Caregivers?
Celebrate CareGivers is a monthly event hosted at select venues in Allegheny and surrounding counties, designed to provide pampering, nurturing, and respite to all caregivers. The events feature free services ranging from massages, manicures, and makeovers, to professional photos, educational seminars, fun activities, refreshments, and more!
Why Celebrate Caregivers?
The mission of Celebrate CareGivers is to “energize” the personal and professional caregiver. Most caregivers carry multiple responsibilities including working a full-time job, and balancing other familial responsibilities. Celebrate CareGivers was created to entice the caregiver to temporarily leave their stressful environment, and enjoy the services and activities designed especially for them.

Roving Pittsburgher Report
York Sushi and Hibachi Grill Buffet, Robinson, PA
For $14.95, cray fish, oysters, spiced cooked mussels, small variety of sushi and whitefish, tuna and salmon sashimi if you ask for it. Also plump crab legs, five tables of Chinese and Japanese Food, fresh salad and fruit bar, soup bar with great misoo. We liked the marinated squid salad and the Hibachi Grill. Very clean, newly decorated and roomy. It does not have the variety of Tokyo Buffet on McKnight Rd., but the quality is good and the price is less.
Matteo’s Ristorante, Brookline
Why not have dinner away from the theatre area on a weekend night?
Eggplant parmesan breaded and pan seared, not deep fried, linguini with white clam sauce with plump, wonderful clams. You may want to have a reservation on the weekend. Had to go back a second time to try more things.

Pittsburgh Irish Classical Theatre, Kreutzer Sonata Review
By JoAnn R. Forrester
By JoAnn R. Forrester
Saturday night the Pittsburgh Penguins played and lost. But a sure winner also played, The Kreutzer Sonata, presented by the Pittsburgh Irish Classical Theater “PICT” claimed a definite score a 10 in my playbook.
The play written by Nancy Harris takes a tale by Leo Tolstoy and weaves it into a mesmerizing “thriller” of marriage, lust, love, jealously, sexism , dark black humor and murder. It’s your classical marriage fate of many “He said he loved me, then treated me awfully and expected me to stay madly in love" marriage tale. Read the entire review here.

Downtown Penguins Proud Contest - #DTPensProud
Here at the PDP we couldn't be MORE excited about the Penguins advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals - in fact, that's our office windows on Liberty Avenue pictured above. We intend to keep that up there until the Penguins bring Lord Stanley back home!
We know we aren't the only office Downtown who is cheering on the Penguins and we want you to share your Penguins Pride! Tweet us a photo of your office in their jerseys, the most decorated cubes or any other creative, exciting way to show the Pens that we've got their back! Be sure to add the hash tag #DTPensProud to your tweet.
The contest will be open as long as the Pens remain in the playoffs (in other words, until we have that awesome ticker tape parade for our boys of winter) and is open to all offices located in Greater Downtown Pittsburgh. At that point, the PDP will select a winner and the winning office will get a pizza party for 10! Be sure to follow us on Twitter for updates: @DowntownPitt
