This free event will include performances by the 6th Regiment USCT Drum Corps, Young Lions African Drummers & Dancers from Sankofa Village of the Arts, and a short film, “For the Love of Liberty," The Story of America’s Black Patriots. There will also be a Lecture & One Day Exhibit: Incredible Grace, One People, Two Continents, Three Centuries of War, By: John L. Ford, Historian. This lecture and special one day only exhibit addresses wars that Africans and African-Americans fought that gave promise of freedom, liberty and justice for all while they continued to embrace the ideals of equality, even though the fullness of it still remains elusive today. I had the raviolis, which tasted like the late Mary Pelligrini had made them, and amazing veal Oscar and canolli.
