Local Pediatric Dentist Providing Free Teeth Cleaning To Kids In Need
Good morning! Please see the information below regarding February's National Children's Dental Health Month and how one dentist is looking to help children in need. Please pass this information along to any person or organization who may need this service for their children!
A local pediatric dentist, Dr. Jennifer Pacella of Mars Dental Specialists, is planning "Give Kids a Smile Day" for February 5th. This is a day-long program offering underserved children an opportunity to receive teeth cleanings and oral examinations free of charge - no insurance required. This program is supported by the American Dental Association and is being used as a platform to bring awareness to the silent epidemic of oral disease in children of low-income families across the nation.
With the arrival of the children from Haiti, Dr. Pacella would like to extend the invitation out to them and their caregivers as well as local children in need of attention.
